The International Tempest Association of great Britain is the United Kingdom branch of the international
governing body for the class. The association was formed to look
after and promote the class, which it does in many ways. To enable
this to happen, it is important that as many owners and friends of
the class are members of the association. By taking out full
membership of the Association you will automatically be a member of
the International Tempest Association and will be made welcome at a
considerable number of regattas throughout Europe.
The UK association produces yearbooks and periodical newsletters
containing articles and information from around the fleets and
events, in addition to the advertisements for sales of boats and
bits etc. In addition, there is a lively website at
www.uktempest.co.uk
which is the place to keep up with the news, gossip and general good
fun.
