News
World Championships 2008 will be held at Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy, from 16 – 22 August. The venue is superb, with Weymouth Bay for the good weather, and Portland Harbour if it is blowing its socks off, or light weather. Parking for boats, cars and vans is plentiful to say the least, and the centre is a new and well appointed outfit, fully staffed by professionals.

Let's see if we can get a large UK contingent to this event. It is not too far from the Channel ports so should attract good number of European competitors.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the event itself, and with the pre-event organisation, and as always, sponsors will be made very welcome.

The "Last Blast" at Carsington SC on the 27th and 28th October saw local crew of Kim Dunston and Phil Munton take overall honours in an event blessed by the wind god with winds of +25 knots recorded during the first race on the Sunday.

Full report and results to follow shortly
